Tot op heden publiceerde de Amerikaanse schrijver Jay McInerney drie boeken over wijn: Bacchus & Me: Adventures in the Wine Cellar (2000), A Hedonist in the Cellar: Adventures in Wine (2006) en The Juice: Vinous Veritas (2012). Afgelopen november verscheen een aantal wijnstukjes van McInerney in een Nederlandse vertaling onder de titel Een hedonist in de kelder. Verhalen over wijn. Deze titel is een beetje misleidend, omdat slechts 14 van de ruim 50 stukjes uit A Hedonist in the Cellar in de Nederlandse vertaling zijn opgenomen. De rest van de Nederlandse bundel bevat alle essays uit The Juice.
